The Primun Salmonella vaccines represent the latest tool in the fight against Salmonella food borne disease. These vaccines meet the requirements of modern-day poultry farming, by providing the longest duration of immunity in the market today. Primun Salmonella E protects against Salmonella Enteritidis and Primun Salmonella T against Salmonella Typhimurium, covering the 2 most important strains related to Salmonella food-borne disease.
Primun is a vaccine that is administered via drinking water by dissolving the lyofilisate in the bottle, after opening the bottle under water. Drinking water application provides an easy route of administration, and mimics the natural oral way that Salmonella field strains also enters the chicken. Each bottle contains enough lyofilisate for 2000 birds.
